Welcome to CTY's program at Princeton University—a three-week residential summer program for academically talented high school students, grades 10 and above. We enter the twenty-first century facing numerous challenges and opportunities. In an increasingly interconnected world, choices we make locally have significant global implications. CTY's program for 10th through 12th graders focuses on key global issues in the twenty-first century. Quite simply, we believe that critical issues of the future deserve the time and attention of the brightest students of our time. By bringing together academically talented students from all over the country to wrestle with major issues facing the world today, our summer programs are able to offer an unusual educational experience, one geared both to the students' high abilities and to their need for peers who share their academic abilities and their love of learning. Princeton University, a premier educational institution and the United States's fourth oldest college, offers an outstanding setting for our program. In addition to our program at Princeton, CTY offers other programs for students in grades 10-12: the Civic Leadership Institute (locations in Baltimore and San Francisco) and CTY China, located at Johns Hopkins University's Nanjing Center in Nanjing, China, a program in Monterrey, Mexico, and the Spanish language immersion component of the new CTY Madrid. There are two ways to apply for this program. The first is to apply online. Please note that if you choose this option, you cannot apply for financial aid. You may also download an application form and mail or fax it to us. If you plan on applying for financial aid, you need to download a financial aid application form. The financial aid form must be included with the program application. |
