Located approximately 90 miles southeast of Mexico City, the University of the Americas (UDLA) is rated among the top five universities in Mexico. Situated on a beautiful 180-acre campus, UDLA is within walking distance of Cholula, the site of the America’s largest Amerindian pyramid and its oldest continually inhabited town. Puebla, the neighboring city, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts some of Mexico’s finest examples of colonial architecture. Although deeply rooted in Mexico’s Amerindian and colonial past, Puebla is also the center of Mexico’s automotive industry and hosts more than 20 universities. Visits to local attractions and landmarks complement the students' experience at this site. Courses at the Puebla site are available to students who have completed grades 7-10 by the summer of 2008. |
