Application Process

For course assignment purposes, applications received on or before January 14 will all be considered to have arrived on the same date. If on January 15 there are more applications than spaces available, CTY will use a selection process that gives preference to students in the 8th and 9th grades.

Notification
Students are notified of the status of their applications within one week of receipt of a complete application. Applications received prior to January 15, 2009 will all be considered to have arrived on the same date. Accepted students receive a Course Assignment Packet with all relevant details about the program and site, including travel information, opening and closing day schedules, a list of things to bring, health and medical information, rules and policies, etc.

Late Applications
Late applications (postmarked after March 31, 2009) are accepted and considered as space in the program permits.
