Summer Programs

Grades 7 and Above

Program Dates for 2009:

First session: June 28 - July 17
Second session: July 19 - August 7

Programs Offered:

CTY offers a number of summer residential programs for qualified students who have completed grades 7 and above.

CTY Grades 7 and Above is available to students whose SAT or ACT scores place them above the mean for college-bound high school seniors. The eligibility chart, 2008 catalog and sample syllabi are available.

CAA Grades 7 and Above is available to students with a wider range of SAT or ACT scores. Please see the Eligibility Chart. The eligibility chart, 2008 catalog and sample syllabi are available.

Programs for Students in Grades 10 to 12: Located at sites in San Francisco and Baltimore, the Civic Leadership Institute is a program that explores leadership and civic engagement. At Princeton University, we offer a program that focuses on Global Issues in the 21st Century.

International Programs: In 2007 we opened international programs in China and Mexico. The program in Nanjing, China is offered to students who will have completed grades 9-12. The program in Puebla, Mexico is offered to students who will have completed grades 7-10.
