Imagine is an award-winning publication dedicated to providing curious young minds with the information and inspiration they need to make the most of their precollege years and beyond. Written for gifted students in grades 7-12, Imagine combines the work of student writers and professionals to offer fresh perspectives on the academic programs available to talented youth as well as valuable insight on the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. In five issues each academic year, students explore topics ranging from mathematics to writing to computer science. Each issue includes articles about exciting summer programs and extracurricular activities across the country written by student participants, as well as advice on planning for college, student reviews of selective colleges, profiles of fascinating careers, book reviews, puzzles, and more. Half of each issue is devoted to a broad focus topic, showcasing activities that students can do now to pursue that interest, as well as career opportunities in the field.
