Cat Bohannon

Cat Bohannon was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and has since lived in eight different states and four different countries. (Prague is still her favorite city.) She's taught Honors composition and creative writing to university undergraduates for four years and has taught for Johns Hopkins' CTY program for two years - sometimes from Berlin and Vienna! Cat completed her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Arizona in 2004 and is currently studying Creative Nonfiction at Columbia University. In the past, she taught political poetry to high school students at a creative writing camp associated with Butler University. Outside of writing and teaching, Cat plays keyboards and sings in various electronic rock bands. Her work was recently published in the Best American Nonrequired Reading 2006 anthology.
