CTYOnline's distance education faculty are an extraordinary group of teachers with expertise both in the fields that they teach, and in their understanding of the needs of gifted young students.  They all hold at least a bachelor's degree, and most hold advanced degrees, including the Ph.D.  When a student enrolls in a CTYOnline distance course, a faculty member is assigned to the student by CTY to guide the student through the course, provide feedback and encouragement, monitor the student's progress, and evaluate the student's performance.
